Over the weekend I listened to Seth Godin's audiobook Leap First and found it inspirational and a worthwhile listen for creatives and non-creatives alike. Seth Godin has a lot of other fabulous books worth checking out, another one of my favorites is The Icarus Deception. He pushes his audience to think about art in new ways and be brave in our vulnerability. As you wind down the year, I recommend listening to this with a cup of hot chocolate and thinking about the new leaps that you would like to make in 2017.
If you're in San Francisco, go say hello to my little paintings in this sweet little widow gallery at Artists' Television Access. The paintings will be up through the holidays, until December 31st.
Arts Benicia’s Art of the Toy exhibition opens this week with an artists’ reception 2-4pm on Saturday December 3rd. This exhibition will include 76 artworks from artists nation-wide. I will have two paintings in the show. Benicia is a sweet little arts town just outside of San Francisco, and well worth a visit. The exhibition will run December 3-22nd.
